A warm BA11 welcome to our newest signing as he trains with the squad ahead of the visit to Tiverton Town.
The club is pleased to have agreed to sign midfielder Charlie Moody on loan from Bristol Rovers.
The Rovers prospect, a second-year scholar at the academy, is an industrious box-to-box midfielder who is comfortable on the ball and a physical presence in the middle of the park.
Charlie has captained the Gas' Under-18 outfit this season and enjoyed a short stint on loan at Cribbs earlier over the festive period.
Talking to the Dodge The Question podcast, manager Danny Greaves said: "We felt we needed to strengthen the midfield because of Alex Monks' four-game suspension. Charlie is a jack-of-all-trades midfield player - he can play in a defensive role, or slightly higher up in a No.8 position. He's young, 6ft 2', likes a tackle and will add strength to our squad. We're hoping he can come in, hit the ground running and show us what he's capable of, because, by all accounts, he has a big future ahead of him.
