Director Ben Hollis Departs Ahead of 24/25 Season

We thank Ben for all of his hard work this season!

Ben Hollis, Director of Commercials and Marketing, has made the decision to step down from his position on the Board of Directors and will now leave the club.

Joining midway through the 22/23 season as Commercial Manager, Ben brought direction to the club’s commercial activities and was invited to join the board prior to the 23/24 season.

Ben said on his time with Frome Town:

"It’s been an absolute pleasure and an honour to have been involved with such a monumental period in the club’s history."

“We’ve worked hard on rebuilding relationships with local businesses, who have come out in record numbers to support the club this season. We’ve created groundbreaking partnerships with companies, both commercial, such as Connor Construction, Frome Printworks and Platinum Motors, as well strategic such as NOCCO sports drinks and Excelsior Coaches, which has played a pivotal role in allowing us to drive the club in the right direction."

“I’m proud of the relationships, structures and processes we’ve worked tirelessly creating and believe they will allow the club to continue to grow, but I feel now is the right time for me to step down and allow someone continue that work."

“I will forever remember Jono’s free-kick against Westbury, the last 15 minutes away at Paulton and sing ‘we just won the play-offs, we just won the play-offs’ to the tune of Kaiser Chief’s ‘I Predict a Riot’ with Danny and Bondy."

“As someone who has been around non-league football for some time, both on and off the pitch, I can confidently say this club is truly something special. I only live down the road, so I will definitely be back next season as a fan. Up the Dodge!”

Director, David Parry, expressed his gratitude:

"The Board would like to thank Ben for his excellent work in his time with our club. He added a new dimension to our commercial activities and made a great contribution to our success on and off the field."

Manager, Danny Greaves, also paid tribute:

"Ben has done a great job in his time with the club. He has driven the commercial and marketing side and continued to build on the great work done before him. He has built on our partnerships with many local businesses which have been strained at times in the past, and those relationships will now only get stronger and stronger. I think it's fair to say, Ben has left the commercial side of things in a better place which we can now build upon."

A huge thank-you from all at the club to Ben! Good luck!
