Yesterday saw us get back underway with a strong performance against Salisbury. the sides started the summer in the pouring rain.
The teams both rung the changes throughout the lively game. With Salisbury taking the lead in the first half, only to see James Ollis bought down in the box and Luke Hopper step up to score from the spot to draw the teams level. The second half saw Salisbury score two to put them 3-2 up, James Ollis scored to make the crowd of 235 confident of finding a late equaliser. But with chances for both teams the score remained the same as the game finished 3-2. Next up we are away to Longwell Green on Tuesday, before facing Southampton B at the Hill, as we look forward to entertaining the premier stars of the future.
