Frome Town vs. Hanwell Town: Preview and Ticket Info

Steve Jupp, BA11's Club Historian, looks ahead to our home clash with the Geordies of West London.

If the weather allows, Frome Town will kick-off 2025 with a home fixture against mid-table Hanwell Town.

Having been without a game on FIVE of the last EIGHT Saturdays, New Year postponements have caused frustration for Danny Greaves’ squad who had cut the gap between themselves and safety from a whopping TEN points to just THREE with a run of fine results.

That margin has, all of a sudden, increased to EIGHT as their relegation rivals have been playing and picking up vital points, but they do have games in hand on most others and the need to continue to produce positive performances and results remains ever crucial.

Their recent revival began at Hanwell in early December when a spirited and thoroughly-deserved 2-0 triumph ended the West Londoners' impressive eight-match unbeaten run and a similar showing on Saturday will give the Scarlet Runners every chance of a first double of the campaign.

This will be the Geordies' first ever visit to Badgers Hill and aside from last month’s Southern League encounter, the only other previous meeting was an FA Trophy clash back in 2016 in the capital where a solitary Marcus Mapstone strike gave Frome the verdict.

One to keep an eye on is striker, Jordan Edwards who was kept quiet during the December encounter but has found the net in each of Hanwell’s last four fixtures and it was his double at Marlow on New Year’s Day which enabled them to end a seven-game winless run.

Although in thirteenth place, they are only four points above the drop zone amongst a whole clutch of teams, any one of whom, with a few bad results, could easily get sucked into a relegation battle.

With comprehensive 3-0 and 5-0 victories in their last two home outings, The Robins have at long last rediscovered their impressive Badgers Hill form of last season and they will need to maintain it to give themselves a fighting chance of surviving in this highly competitive league.

I am a huge non-league football fan, and the game between Frome Town and Hanwell Town is sure to be exciting. I mean, there's nothing like watching two fantastic teams clash on the field. As I searched for match previews and ticket information, I came across an interesting service – "Pay Someone To Take My Proctored Exam." It made me think about how convenient life can be when you have support for tasks that feel overwhelming.
