One half of the Westbury United management team will be familiar to many of the Frome faithful. As on Friday night as former fan favourite Ricky Hulbert returns to The Hill.
Signed originally by Andy Crabtree as an attacking midfielder from Bath City in November 2005, he moved on at the end of that season, having spells at Paulton and Larkhall before rejoining The Robins under the stewardship of Darren Perrin in September 2009.
That campaign was his best for the club in terms of goalscoring, finding the net 16 times before a broken leg kept him out for much of the following season but he returned to play his part in the run-in and the unforgettable play-off final victory at Sholing.
Ricky continued at Frome, as they established themselves in the Southern League Premier Division, until 2016, clocking up 235 appearances and 36 goals and even had his own fan club.
Welcome back to the Hill Ricky
