Frome Town FC are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Chris Peck to join the club this summer.
The midfielder will sign for The Robins when players can be registered in July, the first move of his career.
Peck spent the 2018/19 with league rivals Mangotsfield United, after signing from Bradford Town last summer.
He will be familiar to many in the dressing room having played under Danny Greaves, during his spell with The Bobcats.
Greaves is delighted that he was able add the signing of the combative midfielder to his growing squad ahead of the new season.
He said: "He (Peck) will bring a different dimension to our team and something I felt we missed last season.
"His physicality, desire, and never say die attitude will endear him to our supporters and his team mates.
"i think over the final 10 games of last season, Mangotsfield were in the top 6 form wise, and it's no coincidence that this upturn in form coincided with Peck's return from injury.
"He has a great character, is an extremely fit lad, and hungry to continue to learn and improve. These are some of the key traits we have looked for in our recruitment. He he will prove to be an important member of our squad."
Peck made the tough decision to make the move from Cossham Street to Badgers Hill, after hearing Danny Greaves plans for the upcoming season.
He said: "It was difficult to leave Mangotsfield after only one season, but after speaking to Danny about his plans and goals for next season I knew I wanted to be apart of it."
