Frome Town FC are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Rob Hobbs to rejoin the club this summer.
The midfielder will sign at Badgers Hill for a third time when players can be registered in July.
Hobbs scored 5 goals in 64 appearances in his first two spells in BA11, which ended with a move to Mangotsfield United during the 2017/18 season.
Manager Danny Greaves is delighted to have secured the 30-year-old's services for the coming season.
He said: "Rob will bring and great deal of experience having played at this level and above for a number of years. His professionalism and the way he looks after himself away from football will set great example to our younger players.
"He is another player who fits the characteristics we want in that he is incredibly fit, will work hard for the team, and has a great mentality.
"He has been at the club previously so knows what our supporters want in a player, and I think he will suit the system and the way we want to play this season very well."
Hobbs is excited by the prospect of returning the club and cited meeting Greaves as a key factor in his move to Badgers Hill.
He added: "I enjoyed my time at Frome before under the previous managers and players. After meeting Danny and James (Moon), plus speaking to a few of the lads, it was a no brainer to sign.
"With the squad they are putting together, the professionalism and attitude they want, will ultimately bring the enjoyment of winning games this season"
