Frome Town FC are pleased to announce the signing of Martin Lenihan from Bradford Town.
The attacking midfielder is a fans favourite at Trowbridge Road, having been a key figure during his three seasons with the Bobcats.
He is well-known by The Robins management team and some of the squad, having played under Danny Greaves during his spell as manager at Bradford.
Greaves is happy to have finally secured the signature of Lenihan for The Robins, adding to his growing squad for the upcoming season.
He said: "He was close to joining 2 seasons ago under the previous management, but I am pleased he has now decided to come and play his football with Frome for the upcoming season.
"Martin is another good lad who wants to continually improve and better himself. He looks after himself and will be one of the fittest lads in the squad.
"He is technically very good and is a consistent performer who will provide assists and chip in with a few goals himself."
Lenihan is delighted to be signing on at Badgers Hill and hopes to help The Robins have a successful season.
He said; "I’m happy I have agreed to sign for Frome Town for the coming season. I look forward to hitting the ground running with this group and I am ready to kick start a successful season for the club."
