Frome Town AFC would like to clarify the situation regarding the use of Badgers Hill after a recent post on social media by Frome Town Women (FTW).
The Badgers Hill pitch is available for use this Sunday for FTW’s game, because Westbury United's fixture is on Monday evening. This information has been confirmed to FTW earlier in the week.
All decisions to be made regarding the use of the facilities are the responsibility of the CBS.
There is only one more occasion where Westbury are scheduled to play on the same Saturday as Frome Town. The final decision with regards to rearranging that fixture on 6th April rests with the Southern League and the FA, after taking representations from Westbury’s opponents and FTAFC.
That same process was followed for the game scheduled for this weekend, which meant that the Westbury fixture against Yate Town was arranged for Monday February 24th.
The club hopes this clears up any misunderstanding and we wish FTW good luck for the rest of their season.
