Frome Town FC are delighted to announce that Warren Maidment will remain with the club for the 2020/21 season.
The defender made 21 appearances for The Robins last season, following a summer move from local league rivals Melksham Town,
Manager Danny Greaves is "happy" that Maidment has decided to return to Badgers Hill for another season, as he continues his development.
He said: "Happy to see Waz return. I honestly believe we have 2 of the best young central defenders in the area in Waz and Alex Hallett.
"Waz is a big strong boy, who has plenty of experience for one so young. He put in some big and very mature performances last season in what was an important transitional year for him.
"We asked him to play a slightly different way to what he has done previously and now after a year of being with us, learning and developing, I am expecting a big year from him."
Maidment is "delighted" to have put pen-to-paper for another year with The Robins, as he hopes to help push for promotion at Badgers Hill.
He said: "Delighted to sign for another season. Feel like we had a great chance of achieving promotion when the season was cut short last season, so let's try and finish off what we started and achieve a promotion we have all worked so hard for."
